This Privacy Policy describes how Plumb Intelligence ("we", "us", "our") collects, uses, and shares information about you when you use our website and services (the "Service").

1. What we publish

Plumb Intelligence aggregates and publishes public records obtained from government sources, including Arizona municipal building permit data, the Arizona Registrar of Contractors public licensing roster, and the Maricopa County Assessor's parcel and ownership data. These records are public under Arizona Revised Statutes § 39-121 et seq. We do not modify the underlying records; we aggregate, normalize, and present them. If a specific record is incorrect, the authoritative correction must come from the issuing government agency.

2. Information we collect from you

When you create an account, we collect:

• Email address (required for account creation and authentication)
• Trade category and service-area zip codes (collected at onboarding)
• Business name and optional Arizona contractor license number
• Payment information — processed by Stripe. We do not store your full card number; we receive only a customer/subscription identifier from Stripe.

We also collect, automatically:

• Usage data (pages visited, searches run, alerts received)
• IP address and basic device info for security and abuse prevention
• Error logs (via Sentry) that may include the URL you visited and a stack trace

3. How we use your information

We use your information to:

• Provide and operate the Service (deliver lead alerts, run searches you save, etc.)
• Process payments and manage your subscription
• Communicate with you about your account, trials, and the Service
• Improve the Service (analyze usage patterns, debug issues)
• Comply with legal obligations

4. How we share your information

We share your information only as described below:

• Service providers who help us operate the Service: Stripe (payments), Supabase (database + auth), Vercel (hosting), Cloudflare (storage + CDN), Railway (ingestion service), Resend (email delivery), Anthropic (AI agents), Sentry (error tracking).
• HubSpot — only if you explicitly connect your HubSpot account. We sync leads you mark as "Contacted" to your HubSpot per your authorization.
• Legal compliance — if required by law or to protect rights.

We do not sell your personal information.

5. Public-records publication

If you are an Arizona-licensed contractor or appear on a permit or in the assessor's records, your business information may be displayed on our platform. This information is sourced from public records and is the same information published by the issuing government agency. To request correction, contact the relevant government agency directly (we will provide the contact). Removal from our system requires verification that the source record has been corrected.

6. Data retention

• Account data: retained for the life of your account plus 30 days after deletion.
• Public-records data: retained indefinitely (we maintain a historical archive).
• Usage logs: retained for 90 days.
• Error logs (Sentry): retained for 30 days.

7. Your rights

You may:

• Access, update, or delete your account at any time via Settings
• Export your data (CSV, available on Pro tier)
• Unsubscribe from marketing emails (every email has an unsubscribe link)
• Pause your subscription (Pro tier feature)
• Cancel anytime — no contract, no early-termination fee

8. Children

The Service is not intended for children under 18. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be announced via email or an in-product notice with at least 14 days' notice.
