Cookie Policy
Last updated: July 7, 2026
This Cookie Policy explains what cookies Plumb Intelligence ("we", "us", "our") sets when you use our website and services (the "Service"), why we set them, and how you can control them. The short version: today we set only the essential cookies required to keep you signed in — nothing else.
1. What cookies are
Cookies are small text files a website stores on your device so it can remember you between requests — for example, that you are signed in. Cookies set by the site you are visiting are "first-party" cookies; cookies set by other companies whose services are embedded in a site are "third-party" cookies.
2. Cookies we set: essential only
The Service sets essential authentication cookies provided by Supabase Auth, our sign-in provider. These first-party session cookies are created when you sign in and refreshed as you use the Service. They exist so that:
- You stay signed in as you move between pages
- Server-rendered pages know who you are and what your plan includes
- Your session can be securely refreshed without re-entering your password
These cookies are required for the Service to function. If you block them, you will not be able to sign in or use any account features. Browsing our public pages (contractor lookup, permit pages, city pages) does not require an account and works without signing in.
3. What we do not set
As of the date above, the Service sets no analytics cookies, no advertising cookies, and no marketing or tracking cookies, and embeds no third-party trackers or pixels. Because we set only essential cookies, there is no cookie preference prompt to manage — there is nothing optional to opt out of. If we introduce analytics in the future, we will update this page to describe exactly what is collected before it goes live.
4. Third-party services
When you subscribe to a paid plan, payment is handled by Stripe. Pages and payment elements served by Stripe may set their own cookies for fraud prevention and payment processing; those cookies are governed by Stripe's own privacy and cookie policies. We do not control them and they are not used to track you across our Service.
5. Managing cookies
You can view, block, or delete cookies through your browser settings at any time. Keep in mind that deleting or blocking our essential authentication cookies will sign you out and prevent sign-in until they are allowed again.
6. Changes
We will update this policy if our use of cookies changes — in particular, before adding any analytics — and will revise the "last updated" date above when we do.
