Water Service Line Replacement: Remove and replace the existing main water service line from the water meter to the home's existing water service connection. Install approximately 60 linear feet of new 1-inch Uponor AquaPEX water service piping utilizing an approved underground trenching method. Total developed water piping length is approximately 110 feet, with a total demand of 16 WSFU. Make all necessary connections at the existing water meter and home's water service riser. Upon completion, pressure-test the new water service line, inspect all connections for leaks, restore water service, and verify proper system operation. Gas Service Line Replacement and Repipe: Install a new underground gas service line and repipe the residential gas distribution system serving the existing residence. Work includes approximately 60 linear feet of 1¼-inch polyethylene underground gas piping installed in a trench approximately 24 inches deep, connecting the existing gas meter to the home's gas distribution system. Install approximately 150 linear feet of total developed gas piping, including appropriately sized ¾-inch and ½-inch piping sections as indicated on the submitted gas piping diagram. The new gas distribution system will serve three existing gas appliances: Furnace: 100,000 BTU/hr Furnace: 40,000 BTU/hr Range: 65,000 BTU/hr Total connected gas appliance load: 205,000 BTU/hr. Install all necessary fittings, approved transitions, connections, supports, and appliance shutoff valves as applicable. Upon completion, perform the required gas piping pressure test to verify system integrity, inspect all accessible connections, and coordinate required inspections prior to placing the new gas distribution system into service.
