The project’s initial Zoning approval required screening of select pump station equipment. The intent of this submittal is to satisfy that requirement. Proposed improvements consist of a series of new metal art screens that will obscure portions of an existing industrial water tank from a neighborhood that is south of the site. The screens are made of formed steel panels attached to a steel structure, with a mix of solid and perforated panels. There is a screen fence at grade, a screen at the existing overflow pipe, and a screen at each of the two tank-access platforms.
