Replacement of 200 Amp (or less) electric panel - no plans required. Installation shall comply with City of Mesa codes and servicing electric utility requirements. DO NOT DISCONNECT UTILITY WIRES OR METERS. THE ACT OF SELF DISCONNECTING UTILITY WIRES OR METERS IS PROHIBITED AND MAY CAUSE DAMAGE OR INJURIES. Failure to schedule disconnect may result in additional utility trip charge fees and charges for any damage to utility equipment. Please contact your applicable utility (either SRP at 602-236-0777 or City of Mesa Electric Utility at Engineering-Electric@MesaAZ.Gov) for utility coordination to schedule a pre-construction meeting and to obtain utility service requirements specific to your permit. Disconnect/Reconnect fees or other fees may be collected by the utility separate from permit fees. Depending on your utility, a pre-construction meeting may be mandatory before scheduling a Disconnect/Reconnect. Failure to comply with these requirements may result in additional fees.
