Separate electrical permit for the installation of two 16-foot Dominator aluminum solar-light poles serving a proposed 30-foot by 60-foot pickleball court at Araby Acres RV Resort. Each pole will support two 100-watt integrated solar LED fixtures, for four fixtures total. Each fixture includes an integral photovoltaic panel, charge controller, 12V lithium iron phosphate battery and LED luminaire. No utility service, AC branch circuit, feeder, trenching, conduit or connection to the building electrical system is proposed. Each pole will be installed on a manufacturer-prescribed 2-foot by 2-foot by 3-foot-deep cast-in-place concrete footing with the manufacturer’s anchor assembly. DEFERRED SUBMITTALS - SOLAR POLE LIGHT DESIGN AND SPEC SHEETS. Installation of one 30 ft x 60 ft post-tensioned concrete pickleball court slab at Araby Acres RV Resort, APN 698-35-200. The slab is 5 inches thick with a nominal 12 inch x 12 inch thickened perimeter edge and post-tension tendons. Scope includes excavation, grading and site preparation; acrylic sports coating and court striping; a 7 ft chain-link fence with one 7 ft self-closing gate; and two 16 ft self-contained solar sport-light poles with two light heads per pole, including pole footings and anchor assemblies. The solar fixtures are not connected to utility power. City staff has advised that the 7 ft fence does not require a separate permit.
