THE PROPOSED REPAIR WILL RETAIN THE EXISTING SLAB, PATCH DETERIORATED AREAS, APPLY WATERPROOFING, AND STRUCTURALLY REINFORCE THE WALKWAY BY INSTALLING TYPE B STEEL DECKING BENEATH THE SLAB SUPPORTED ON NEW STEEL ANGLES WELDED TO THE EXISTING C-CHANNELS. THE INTENT IS TO EXTEND THE SERVICE LIFE OF THE WALKWAY IN A COST-EFFECTIVE AND MINIMALLY DISRUPTIVE MANNER.
