Burros and Fries (Monument sign B) This project consists of the installation of one (1) new freestanding, externally illuminated cabinet sign for Burros & Fries. The sign will be supported by a single centered steel pole and installed in accordance with the Arizona Sign Association Standardized Sign Engineering Program (Version 4.2), prepared under the 2021 International Building Code. The sign cabinet measures approximately 4'-0" in height by 10'-0" in width (40 square feet total sign face area) with an overall height of approximately 8'-0" above grade. Structural design is based on a 110 MPH ultimate wind speed (3-second gust) with Exposure C conditions, consistent with local code requirements. The support structure consists of a 5" diameter Schedule 40 steel pipe post designed per ASA Design Group 6. The foundation will be a cast-in-place concrete pier, 2'-0" in diameter by 6'-0" deep (Pier Option “m”), installed in undisturbed native soil per standardized engineering assumptions. All concrete, steel, and reinforcement will comply with the structural notes and specifications contained in the submitted engineering package. No grading or utility relocation is proposed as part of this scope. Installation will comply with all applicable City of Gilbert zoning, building, and electrical requirements.
